NYLON + Purple Line = Happiness

After munching on my peanut butter and strawberry (bright red, juicy strawberries-dead center) sandwich, on my morning commute to la escuelita de los bonitos, I gladly opened my NYLON and began to visually feast. This April, NYLON magazine celebrates being alive for thirteen years. On the cover: Freida Pinto! This article is a must read. Besides the beautiful shots of her "dressed down," rocking a Marc Jacobs jacket with a pair of blue denim shorts by Klein, she discusses her biggest role played in Michael Winterbottom's (24 Hour Party People) Trishna, a film adaptation of Thomas Hardy's, Tess of d'Urbevilles. Not only did I discover that I NEED to see this, but Pinto is 27 and has a BA in English Literature!!! We're twins! Well, no, but she is definitely inspiring me. She expresses her thoughts of others in a very caring manner and is no stranger to the issues young girls and women face regarding their identity in India. I won't spoil this at all, just get a NYLON, if only to get a tiny glimpse of how interestingly beautiful this woman is.

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NYLON!!! I LOVE OUR TRAIN RIDES TOGETHER!
